Kalmisto is melodic death metal band from Finland. Petri Ilvonen (guitar) and Jarno Vanhanen (drums) founded the band in the end of the year 2007. Soon after that Teemu Tavén (guitar) joined Kalmisto. Immediately band started to make material. In 2009 we recorder our first EP. Vocals were singed by Sami Honkonen. 400 copies of EP were printed in June and were sold out within next three months. Ep soon became into knowledge among targeted audience and got positive feedback. Song "Borders" was played at Radio Rock. In October Henri "Henkka" Harberg joined Kalmisto as our singer. We played our first gig at Halloween, 31.10. We are continuing making new materials and playing more gigs.
